It’s hockey tape, but not your dad’s hockey tape. It’s made in Richmond, sold worldwide and the company that makes it is about to launch Olympic designs that should appeal to Games enthusiasts. How about official mascots Quatchi and Miga pictured on a pond, or a Vancouver 2010 Inukshuk logo gracing your stick blade while you take a slapshot? Those are just some of the concepts being tested by Blade Pro Products Inc. president Richard Findlay as his Vancouver-based firm puts its Olympic licensee status into action.
