We are legal by definition in all the rule books and we have talked
to the NHL personally and they say it is fine. In fact, many pros have
been exposed to the product are practicing using BladeTape and are
getting used to the new "found feel" on the puck.
NHL RULEBOOK
Rule 19 a) The sticks shall be made of wood or other material approved
by the Rules Committee, and must not have any projections. Adhesive
tape of any color may be wrapped around the stick at any place for the
purpose of reinforcement or to improve control of the puck.
CHA RULEBOOK Rule 21 g) The Stick may be wound with any colour tape.
WHL RULEBOOK

by the Rules Committee, and must not have any projections. Adhesive
tape of any color may be wrapped around the stick at any place for the
purpose of reinforcement or to improve control of the puck. The end of
a hollow stick must be fully covered.
NCAA HOCKEY RULEBOOK
Rule 3, Section 1 a) Adhesive tape of any color may be wrapped around
the stick at any place for the purpose of reinforcement or to improve
control of the puck.
